THE COMMISSION PROCESS
To create my drawings, I only work with the best materials! I use professional grade graphite and I draw on acid free Bristol board.

To secure a booking with me I require a high resolution image/s and a non-refundable £100 deposit. I will need to approve the image/s before receiving your deposit. Once the deposit has been paid this secures a place on my schedule.

I will keep you updated throughout the drawing process. This is to ensure your complete satisfaction. If you are happy with the final proof then you will be ecstatic when the actual drawing is delivered!

Shipping to a UK address is included in the price. I send special delivery, which is fully insured and tracked.

I am currently booked up until December 2024. I do build flexibility into my schedule, so please get in touch to see if I can accommodate your deadline.

For international customers please contact me so I can provide you with a quote in your currency that includes shipping and payment fees. Please be aware that import taxes may apply.
THE PERFECT IMAGE
For me to produce my best work then I do insist on working from high-resolution images. Ideally using a DSLR camera but the latest camera phones will take a cracking photo in the right conditions. Here are my top tips for capturing the perfect image.

Always take your photos in natural light. That’s either outside or in a well-lit room. Overcast days are perfect for portrait photography. This is when the light is even.

Always take the photo at the eye level of the subject/s.

Avoid shadow. This will obscure detail.

Get your distances right. Unless you have lenses that allow you to photograph from afar just get close. Never use the zoom function on a camera phone, it will deteriorate the quality.

If using a camera phone, please do not apply filters to your images.
